Lorries and Kelly, I'm so sorry to hear about Dorothy, she was a fantastic lady and a beautiful person.
I remember my Senior Pictures and she gave me a perm I kinda had curls like (Shirley Temple). Although I didn't keep close contact with her she'll be missed. RIP say a Heavenly hello to my mom and dad.
Dear Lorree and Kelly and families, We are so sorry to learn of the passing of your beloved mom. What special memories come flooding my mind, as I think about your mother. I loved how she befriended me encouraging me about adoption, knowing that we had just adopted Jimmy. She was there for Jimmy and Buddy in the nursery. How special it was to know a woman like her. She loves you girls and Jim and serving in the nursery. I remember the special times she wanted to share your pool and let our Jimmy swim there with you. She loved the people of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, especially the youth at that time. I remember the time she had us over for some church function and she made a Texas sheet cake, wow, was that delicious!! I remember she also loved her flowers and her yard. She was a dear, quiet, and loving woman. What a very special person she was, I am so glad to have known her. Don sends his sympathies as well.
