Grandma GG has always been an inspirational person to me ever since i was very little. she taught me her kindness and patience toward people and pets. i love her so much and i know is looking down on me watching me grow as a daughter, granddaughter and niece.
Grandma's kindness and love for animals have always made a big impact on me. But I think what stands out most was her open-mindedness. As people age they tend to become more close-minded to new experiences, but not grandma. Grandma had been terrified of snakes her entire life, but with a little encouragement held one for the first time at 91 years of age. And she decided that they weren't so bad after all! And that is just one example among many others. I love you grandma!
As we go thru life we get to meet many people who may become a bigger part of our lives. Doris (Mom) to me was one of these people to me. She was close to earth, nothing
fake. She did something special for me, she raised a special daughter, who I am honored to be able to say is my loving wife. Thank you Doris, and may God bless.

You will be missed greatly by all of us, but your spirit will live on in our hearts forever. I will always remember getting to spend a week at your house during each summer as a kid with you, Aunt Ev and Duke. I loved waking up early to help you feed the barn cats and walking through the soy bean fields and the apple orchard with you. I don't think I've ever met someone with a greater love or compassion for animals than you had. I'm so thankful that I had such an amazing grandma for the last 30 years. I will forever love and miss you.
