We're mourning the loss of a close personal friend, dear caring lady, outstanding mother, loving wife to Elmer and a person who showed concern to everyone she met. Doris was our son's beloved Godmother who never forgot to remember him on special occasions and showed concern about his well-being.
The memories of our 40+ year friendship will remain with us forever and we have many: weddings attended, the numerous parties, church activities, events that included the togetherness of our children, and so many more.
Doris was a devoted wife and mother and friend. She would always ask how someone else was doing before focusing on herself, and now in turn her family reached-out to be as near and dear to their wife/mother/grandmother as was possible during her difficult last days. The Kress family is a role-model that we can only strive to emulate.
