I remember the first time I met Don, it was during a criminalistics course and he was teaching Ballistics (go figure). He walked in introduced himself and handed out the huge packet on ballistics, I though ugh?. this is going to be a long class. I knew nothing about guns, but by the end of the class I wanted to learn more. That was Don; he inspired many, whether it was in ballistics, photography, crime scene investigation or life. I had the great fortune to have known him and have learned from him.
Don accomplished a lot in his life, his knowledge that he shared with college students, police cadets and OPTA classes will live on and will not soon be forgotten nor shall he?.
And in the end it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. - Abraham Lincoln
He will be greatly missed.. To the Moore family you?re in my thoughts and prayers?.
