Donald D. Menhenett's Obituary
Donald Douglas Menhenett, age 100, of Fairview, passed away peacefully at O’Neill Healthcare Center in North Ridgeville on Sunday January 21, 2018.
Born in Rochester, New York he had resided in Fairview most of his life.
A 2nd Lieutenant in US Marine Corps, he served as a pilot during WWII.
After the War he returned home and founded the first aerosol packaging company and continued to work in packaging sales in the Cleveland area his entire career.
He enjoyed giving back to his community serving in the Masonic Lodge and the Al Koran Shrine.
He is survived by his daughter Joan Menhenett of San Clemente, CA son Paul (Diane) Menhenett of North Ridgeville three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife Margaret in 2005, his parents, Matthew and Margaret (nee Yates) Menhenett, one brother and one sister.
He will be laid to rest privately with his beloved wife at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with full military honors.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bogner Family Funeral Home, North Ridgeville.
