Dennis J. Vecchio's Obituary
Dennis J. Vecchio, age 48, of Rocky River, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 in Rocky River.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan, grew up in North Ridgeville and had lived most of his life in Rocky River.
Dennis served in the US Navy from 1989-1995.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Baldwin Wallace University.
He was employed in litigation support.
He was a member of St. Christopher’s Church in Rocky River.
Dennis enjoyed listening and playing classic rock music. He followed politics and was active in the Libertarian Group and Republican Party.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Catherine M. (nee Galayda); parents, Al and Martha (nee Bonacorsi) White of North Ridgeville; sister, Linda Greiner of North Ridgeville; brothers, Michael (Jayne) White of Elyria, Thomas Vecchio of North Ridgeville; two nieces, two nephews; one great-niece and one great nephew; mother and father -in-law, Christine and William Galayda of Cleveland.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, where a prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30AM followed by a 10AM Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Andrew Hoover will be the celebrant.
