David Ellis Walker's Obituary
David Ellis Walker, age 63, of North Ridgeville, passed away on February 20, 2023 at the St. John Medical Center in Westlake after a brief illness.
He was born on May 15, 1959 in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 33 years. He worked as a computer technician for NASA, a job he truly loved. David was a hard worker, with great work ethic. He garnered many great friendships with his coworkers and was enthralled with the Mission of NASA.
In his free time, David enjoyed boating, camping and was an avid woodworker. He was a car enthusiast, and loved motorcycles. In his younger days, he hunted often with his uncle Herman in Canada.
David is survived by his former spouse Janice Walker; daughter Carolann Walker; son Joshua Walker; sisters DeLene (John) Hernan and Dawn Deering; brother Daniel (Erlinda) Stephens; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Carol Fashing; brother-in-law George Deering; uncle Herman (Ida) Zdovc.
A sharing of memories will take place on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Carolann to assist with funeral expenses.
