I worked with David at NASA. He was always very happy person and always had time to chat. He will be missed. I am at a loss for words. Prayers to the family
I worked with David at NASA. He will be greatly missed there. He was a great guy and a hard worker. I loved having conversations with him. He has passed way too soon.
Dave was one of the first people I met when I started at NASA. He was always so kind to me and whenever I needed something he made sure to get it for me. During the 2 year shut down He stayed in my office and when we came back he would visit me everytime I was on-site and chat with me for the longest time about my son and his kids. Please know he spoke so highly of you. He will be truly missed by so many. My sincere condolences on the loss of a great man.
This man was full of happiness and cheer every single time I saw him at work. He was a ray of sunshine at NASA. No matter what he was going through, he offered nothing but positivity. Aside from that, two things I will always remember are that he always chewed gum and he always wore amazing cologne; he was neat and tidy and an all-around beautiful human who will be missed by so many people at NASA. Everyone knew and loved this guy! Rest in Peace, Dave. My deepest condolences to his family, who I know he loved very much.

Is there a GoFundMe account to donate to? How do we get donations to CarolAnn?
When I first started at NASA and Dave introduced himself to me, he told me "everyone calls me the Captain", but that was too long of a name, so to me he was always just Cap. Even in my work phone when he called, it came up as Cap. I will deeply miss seeing my phone ring with his moniker. I can still hear him greeting me in my head when I answered the phone or he popped by my office for candy or Captain's Wafer crackers. I am truly deeply sorry to his family and friends for his loss. His presence will be completely and utterly missed around here.
