Dave, Juanita, Bill and I have had some great times together. I was a bridesmaid when he married my best friend since first grade. They made each other happy. We visited frequently when they lived in Huntingburg. He was always happy, smiling and uplifting and we looked forward to our infrequent gatherings after they moved to North Ridgeville. He was so loved and he will be missed by so many. Our deepest sympathy, Juanita, Brad and your family. God bless you all. Love, Jean & Bill
So very sorry for your loss
Dear Michele and family,

We will miss this special friend.
Sue and I have been friends with Dave and Juanita since the early sixties. I worked with Dave at WHIZ TV in Zanesville, Ohio where where he was an engineer and I did part time on air work while I was a student at Muskingum College. As I helped build a Muskingum College radio facility(WMCO FM) Dave also took on the chief engineer role and enrolled in classes at Muskingum.
We were honored to be part of Dave and Juanita's wedding party.
A few years later I persuaded Dave to leave his post at NBC's affiliate in Indianapolis and join us at Ohio Bell to build a full service industrial color tv facility for training and communications--one of the first such units in corporate America.
Over the years we stayed in touch and always enjoyed our visits with Dave and Juanita in Ohio where they would update us on their family and he would display his latest projects--from technology to organ music.
I talked with Dave a couple of weeks ago and his enthusiasm for life and communications projects such as the ham radio you tube training modules was as evident as ever. This sustaining energy, curiosity, and his caring family helped him deal with years of declining health.
Juanita, Brad and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate Dave's life.
Sincerely, Sue and Hal Burlingame (Chatham, New Jersey)
My sincere condolences on the passing of David, W8KFJ.
I never meet him but enjoyed his informative videos on Youtube especially the ELAD radio & software ones. His insight & explanation during his videos helped me in understanding the differences in SDR technology.

I would like to express my sincere condolences on the death of David, W8KFJ.
I never had the chance of meeting him in person (I am a Ham Radio operator located in Bavaria, Germany), but I have watched all of his youtube videos on Ham Radio stuff, SDR technology, ELAD radios and software.
It was always a great pleasure for me watching his pesentations there and in particular the way how he presented these and these will stay in my mind and heart for the rest of my life.

I met David at the Northern Ohio Amateur Radio Society many years ago. I enjoyed his enthusiasm for any project he undertook. His video tutorials on operating the Elad FDM-DUO transceiver are remarkable for their production value and quality of information. His enthusiasm for life was uplifting. I'll miss you, W8KFJ! 73, Chet Roberts K8KIZ
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
