Carole Burkholder's Obituary
Carole L. Burkholder (nee Krueger) age 65, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012 at North Cypress Medical Center in Cypress, Texas, following her battle with cancer. She was born in Elyria, Ohio and had been a resident of Cypress, Texas for the past 19 years. She previously lived in North Ridgeville for 25 years and North Royalton for 18 years. She was a graduate of North Ridgeville High School, class of 1964.
In Ohio, Carole was employed by Triplant Credit Union, St. Albert the Great Credit Union and Dr. Braigal's Dentistry. She was also a member of St. Albert the Great Church. In her spare time, Carole enjoyed crafting, sewing, cake decorating, bowling, gardening, and planning family gatherings.
Carole was preceded in death by her father, Wilber H. Krueger, and mother, Louise M. (Frommeyer) Krueger. Survivors include her husband, Gary F. Burkholder; four sons, Michael G. (Monica) Burkholder, Scott H. (Brandy) Burkholder, Brad J. (Jenny) Burkholder, and Patrick T. (Paige) Burkholder; nine grandchildren; sister, Gail M. (Larry) Wack; and brothers, Gerald W. (Lynda) Krueger and William H. (Cheryl) Krueger.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A prayer service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home followed by 1:00 p.m. Mass at St. Peters Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Father Robert Sanson will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
