Carmen Ticconi's Obituary
Carmen A. Ticconi (nee Spiritosanto), age 71, of Snyder, NY, passed away Monday at Fairview Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio following a long illness.
Born in Phillipsburg, PA, she had resided most of her adult life in Snyder, NY.
Mrs. Ticconi received her Master of Science in Education from Buffalo State University.
She was a teacher in the Williamsville Central School District in the 1960s and 70's.
A music lover, she played the piano and sang with the choir of her church, Christ United Methodist Church in Snyder, NY.
Survivors include her daughters Carlina (Doug) Horley of North Ridgeville and Alicia Ticconi of Snyder, NY; grandchildren Jacob and Iliana Horley, her husband, Roger I. Ticconi of Williamsburg, VA, brothers Anthony S. Spiritosanto of Springfield, VA and James L. Spiritosanto of Jacksonville, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James V. and Phoebe E. Spiritosanto. A Memorial Service will be held 3 PM Sunday October 14, 2012 at Christ United Methodist Church, 350 Saratoga Rd, Snyder, NY. Private interment will be in Kylertown Presbyterian Cemetery, Kylertown, Pennsylvania.
