John and I would talk together when the residents in Porter Pavillion, Avon Oaks, had their lunch. Lunch was with his wife Millie and my mother, Julia. John would tell those jokes with such a straight face you never knew when it was a story or a joke! I enjoyed his company.
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine on him.

I can remember the few times we hunted together while I was dating your daughter Jean many years ago, and your fondness for the out-doors reflected in your love of the "farm" near Millersburg.

My deepest sympathy to the Demyan family. I know that John always looked forward to the fall season for hunting which he did with my brother Jerry in years past.
