Zelda Eloise Williams' Obituary
Zelda Williams, age 88, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at St. John Medical Center. She was born in Drennen, WV and had been a resident PA until moving to North Ridgeville three years ago. Zelda devoted her life to making a loving home. She had a passion for birds and gardening. She enjoyed fishing and traveling with her husband. Zelda loved her dogs, and had a great gift of sewing and quilting. She was a survivor of the Great Depression, had a resilience to envy, and was West Virginia STRONG! She always sacrificed herself her entire life, lived meek so that she could be there and do for her family. Her value, although too humble to see, was priceless. We miss you. She is survived by her grandchildren, Charlotte (Greg) Brown of North Ridgeville, Leonard Volpe of Olmsted Falls, Dawn (Tim) Tokarcik of Bedford Heights, Laura DeFabio of Wickliffe; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Aaron, and Austin Brown, Chelsie, and Jordan Volpe, Daniel, Dominic, and Louis Narducci, and Bella, Pia, and GiGi DeFabio; great-great-grandchildren, Evelyn Volpe and Dakota Narducci; sister-in-law, Elaine Scaggs; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James Shirley; a daughter, Kay Reichow; 10 brothers and sisters; and her parents, Oliver and Thelma Gibson. Private family services will be held at a later date.
