Yon-cha Mees' Obituary
Yon-cha Mees (nee Joeng), age 63, of North Ridgeville passed away at her home
On Monday, September 9, 2024. She was born in South Korea and had moved to North Ridgeville in 1995 from Rocky River, Ohio. She worked in the service industry from 1986 until May of this year.
Yon-cha loved raising and spending time with both of her sons, and husband. She loved having
a good glass of wine with her friends, and just enjoyed everyday with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years Richard Michael, sons James of Cleveland, and
Michael (Kristen) Mees of Evendale, grandchildren, Dawson, Logan, Paxton, (baby girl),
brothers, Chi-Yong Joeng, Ho-Yong Jeong, Ku-Yong Joeng and sister Dak-Won Joeng, and
numerous nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Hae-Young and Wol-I (Hwang) Joeng, and
grandson, Gideon Mees.
Friends may call on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at Bogner
Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, Oh 44039. There will be a
Funeral Service on Monday, September 16th , beginning at 10am, also at Bogner Family Home.
Fr. Bob Franco will officiate.
