Winifred Hohman's Obituary
Winifred W. Hohman, age 74, passed away suddenly on October 8, 2011, at The Villa Camillus Nursing Home in Columbia Station.
Born in Fronleiten, Austria and growing up in Germany, Winifred moved to the United States and has been a resident of North Ridgeville since the late 1950's, moving from Euclid.
Winifred was a member of the North Ridgeville Senior Center, and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
She is survived by her sons Eric (Mildred) of North Ridgeville, Kenneth of Elyria and Steven (Kristine) of Oberlin; six grandsons; 2 granddaughters; 1 great-grandson; 1 great-granddaughter; and sister Elvine Banoob of Portugal.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence in 1983; her parents Wilhelm and Amalie (nee Tulner) Spahr; and sisters Herlinda Reinhart and Winhilda Ott.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 11 from 5-8 p.m. in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. A 10:00 a.m. Mass will follow at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road. Father Bob Franco, Pastor of St. Peter Catholic Church, will be the celebrant.
Interment to follow in St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
