Wilson Moore's Obituary
Wilson L. Moore, age 87 of Avon, died Sunday, June 4, 2006 at EMH Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born December 26, 1918 in Lawrence, MI. He had resided in Avon the past 59 years having moved from Elyria.
Mr. Moore served in the US Army third infantry during WW II.
He was a member of Avon United Methodist Church.
He worked 22 years as an Assembler for Fruehauf Trailer, Lorain until the plant closed, then went to work the Avon Service Department retiring in 1983 after 14 years of service.
He enjoyed vegetable gardening and traveling
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Barbara A. (Nee Krieg) 2 daughters, Deborah Maurer of Avon, Patricia DeBellis of Austin, TX; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by Parents, Arthur and Alma Moore and two brothers, Harry and Roy Moore.
Friends will be received 7-9, Monday, June 5 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. David Oliver, Pastor of Avon United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will follow in the Ridgehill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
