Wilma Lewis' Obituary
Wilma Lewis (nee Dyer), age 78 of Elyria passed away Saturday August 29, 2009 at Wesleyan Village, Elyria.
Mrs. Lewis was born and raised in Crossville, TN, and moved to Lorain County in 1954. She was a kind, simple woman and a devoted mother of eleven children.
Surviving is four daughters, Joyce C. Smalley, Martha L. Nelson, Karen S. Butcher and Carol A. Young all of Elyria; two sons, James C. Lewis and Terry L. Lewis, also of Elyria; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and brother, Gene Dyer of Crossville, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John M.; parents, George and Ester Dyer (nee Simpson); sons, George, William, John R. and James M; daughter, Wilma Runyon and several brothers and sisters.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Further visitation, services and burial will take place in Crossville, TN.
