Willy Maes' Obituary
Willy Maes, 70, of Elyria died Monday June 12, 2006 at his residence following a brief illness.
Mr. Maes was born in Brussels, Belgium in 1935. He and his wife moved to America in 1958. He had lived in Montreal, IL San Diego, CA, and had been in Elyria for the past two years.
WIlly had been employed as a chef for various hospitals, hotels, and restaurants. He enjoyed cooking, golf, and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Louise H. (nee Barbe); sons; Jean Luc ( Lisa ) of Waucanda, IL, and Alain J. ( Tracy ) of Descanso, CA; a brother, Henri; sister, Dominique; and mother, Juliette, all of Brussels. He was pereceded in death by his father, Gerard; and sister, Monique.
All services will be private. There will be no visitation.
