William Walters' Obituary
William I. "Bill" Walters, age 48, of North Ridgeville, passed away suddenly Thursday at his home.
He was born in Amherst and was a life long resident of North Ridgeville.
Mr. Walters worked as a fabricator for Elyria Foundry Company in Elyria for the past two years. He previously worked for Modern Pools, Columbia Station and Fairweather Roofing in Avon.
He was a member of Church on the Rise, Westlake and enjoyed woodworking, slate decoupage, fishing, gardening and being in the great outdoors.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Cheryl (nee Kehl); sons, William M. of Sheffield Lake, Chas & Chase both of North Ridgeville; daughters, Tanika Walters of Parma Hts., Shannon Wilkovich of Columbia Station, Lisa Harrington of Lorain; eleven grandchildren; father, Arnold of Elyria; brother, Arnold D. of North Ridgeville; sisters, Deborah L. Whyel of LaGrange, Barbara J. Malysa of Elyria and Greta M. Masline of Avon.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Grethel J. Walters in 1999.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Pastor Ricardo Johnson and Rev. Paul Grodell of Church On The Rise will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
