William F. McKay's Obituary
William F. McKay, age 67, of North Ridgeville, passed away at University Hospital, Elyria Medical Center on Sunday, April 13, 2014 after a sudden illness.
William was born on October 8, 1946 in Mentor, Ohio. He has lived in North Ridgeville for the past 38 years.
He was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and a proud veteran of the Vietnam War. He was the owner of C.S.Q.P. Printing in North Olmsted. He ran the print shop with his family. He was a dear friend to many customers, brokers and vendors. William was a member of the Local Allied Printers Union and attended the Abbe Road Baptist Church in Elyria.
William was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, including annual fishing trips with his treasured friends far into Canada’s backwoods. A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. His keen and witty sense of humor will be deeply missed by his family and all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Valerie (nee Marvin); sons Billy (Terri) and Andrew McKay, both of North Ridgeville; daughter Rachel (Jesse) Ball of North Ridgeville; grandson Andrew McKay Jr. of North Ridgeville.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Yolonda (nee Raymond) McKay; step father Norman Hasek; brother John McKay.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, on Thursday 5-8 p.m. Funeral Services Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the Abbe Road Baptist Church, 670 N. Abbe Rd, Elyria 44035 (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.) Rev. Dr. Michael Peck will officiate. Interment private.
