When I think of Bill, my greatest memories are just giving him a hard time. His way of showing love was to make fun of you. He taught me to drive a stick shift which led to many free-wheeling years of motorcycle rides. Unfortunately for Bill, his motorcycle experience ended abruptly and I remember him limping for a very long time. Thank you to his family for our picnics and family gatherings. My thoughts and love to Gloria, Jimmy and Dennis. Thanks for being a great uncle and brother-in-law to my parents.

Bill was a good man who loved his family and enjoyed sharing the accomplishments of his children and grandchild with others. It was good to watch his sons grow up and mature.
I was fortunate that his definition of family included nephews who needed to learn how to drive stick shift cars. Bill and his trusty VW beetle showed a lot of patience and forgiveness for a rather inept pupil, especially given Bill's background as a race car mechanic and occasional driver.
Another vivid memory I had of Bill was his reaction to meeting my future wife Linda. "She is the one for you Bob. Don't mess this one up." We had fond memories of his family attending our wedding and we enjoyed 40 years of a great marriage, not quite the 47 Bill and Gloria achieved. Rest in peace my good man.
