William Kearney's Obituary
William Kearney, 90 of North Ridgeville died Saturday June 10, 2006 at the North Ridge Health Center following a long illness.
He had resided in North Ridgeville since 1954 having moved from Rocky River. He was an electrician for ELO Electric Company, retiring in 1976, and a member of the IEBW Local 38.
William was also a member of the Loyal order of the Moose, Elyria, the North Ridgeville Raquet Club, and the American Legion Post 421 having served as a Merchant Marine.
Mr. Kearney enjoyed playing tennis, dancing, and making sculptures.
He is survived by his wife of 54 Years, Evelyn M. ( nee Brunt ); son, Ronald of North Ridgeville; daughter, Barbara Barnes of Elyria; a granddaughter, Jennifer Miksa; two great-grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard in 2001; a brother, Phillip, and his parents, William and Hazel.
Family will receive friends at the DAVID BOGNER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 36625 CENTER RIDGE RD., NORTH RIDGEVILLE Wednesday from 2PM until the time of service at 3:30PM. Rev. Kathryn Ketchum of Pilgrim United Church of Christ, Elyria will officiate. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to North Ridgeville Community Care, 34015 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, OH 44039.
