William L. "Bill" Isenberg's Obituary
William L. “Bill” Isenberg, age 82, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 18 years. He previously lived in Elyria for 40 years.
William served in the US Army and was called up to the U.S. Army for the Berlin Crisis.
He worked as an electrician for Ford Motor Company, retiring in 2007 after 33 years.
Bill had a lifelong passion for being an Amateur Radio operator with call letters K81C and was a member of the Northern Ohio Amateur Radio Society and UAW Local 2000 Retirees.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Joan (nee Berchak), children, Jeff (Tracy) Isenberg of Lorain, Michelle Dalton of North Ridgeville, Greg (Melissa) Isenberg of Cumming, Georgia, special niece, Alice (Jamie) Nibert, grandchildren, Lee Isenberg, Doug (Megan) Isenberg, Michael Dalton, Erin (Holly) Isenberg, Lauren Isenberg, McKenna Isenberg, Lindsey Isenberg, brother, Ken (Shirley) Isenberg of Wadsworth, sister, Patricia Gromley (JR) of Arizona, brother, David Isenberg of Pennsylvania, sister-in-law, Carol Smith of North Ridgeville, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaiah, and Lenora (nee Nicholson) Isenberg.
Services will be private.
Burial with Full Military Honors will be at St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in William’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 23215 Commerce Park STE 300, Beachwood, OH 44122.
