William Robert "Bill" Falcone's Obituary
William Robert “Bill” Falcone, age 70, of Elyria, passed away Saturday October 5, 2013 at his home following a brief illness.
He was born in Pittsburgh, PA and had resided in North Ridgeville for 30 years before moving to Elyria in 2002.
Mr. Falcone served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
He had a great passion for the great outdoors. He enjoyed his garden, hunting, fishing and traveling. He also was an avid woodworker.
A member of the UAW Local 1250, he retired from Ford Motor Company Brookpark Engine Plant in 2007 after 15 years of service. He previously was a truck driver for Kuchenrither Trucking in North Ridgeville.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Kathleen (nee Tielke), daughter Deborah (Anthony) Zerbini of Elyria, son David Falcone of Olmsted Falls, four grandchildren, Anthony Jr. and Gabriella Zerbini, Kayla and Nicholas Falcone, and his sister-in-law Sally Falcone of Spanaway, Washington.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Roger and Kathryn Falcone, and his brother Charles Falcone.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6PM until time of services at 8PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Reverend Chuck Behrens will officiate.
