William "Bill" Carter's Obituary
William “Bill” Carter, age 72, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at his home.
He was born in Pontiac, Michigan and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 8 years moving from Medina.
Bill served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
He worked in management for General Motors and then went on to Polaris Career Center where he worked for 18 years before retiring in 2003.
He was a member of Faith Baptist Temple in North Ridgeville, Grand Lodge of Ohio and Valley of the Firelands Scottish Rite.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on cars, going to auctions, golfing, bowling and was an avid collector.
Survivors include his wife 52 years, Dee, son William (Zoe) Carter III of North Ridgeville, granddaughter, Rachael Carter.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Carter, parents, William and Freda Carter.
Friends may call Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 3PM until the time of services at 4PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. James Barta will officiate.
