William F. "Bill" Armour's Obituary
William “Bill” F. Armour, age 88, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at his home after a brief illness. He was born on September 10, 1935 in Cleveland, and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 23 years, moving from Lakewood where he resided for 31 years. He worked in manufacturing at E.F. Hauserman for 47 years, retiring in 2000. Bill was a member of St. Julie Billiart Church in North Ridgeville. He enjoyed golf and excelled at bowling, earning “300” and “290” game rings. His family was the most important thing in his life, and he was a faithful husband, a great dad and loving grandfather.
Bill is survived by his wife of 69 years, Madeline (nee Callari); sons Billy (Libby), Jimmy, Bobby and Johnny Armour; grandchildren Bill, Mike (Cassie) and Keri (Jay) Dorfeld; great grandchildren Makayla and Michael; many siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Krystle Armour; mother Ruth (nee Head) Armour.
Funeral Service Friday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where his family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Rev. Bob Franco will officiate. Interment will be private.
