Willard Moore's Obituary
Willard F. Moore, age 83, of North Ridgeville, passed away Wednesday at Westlake Healthcare Center in Westlake.
He was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since January 2004. He was formerly of Hudson where he had lived for over 20 years moving from Aurora.
Mr. Moore served in the US Army in the 8th Air Force and was a tailgunner on the B-17 "Old Glory" during WWII.
He worked in sales of electrical insulation and retired in 1985.
He was the charter president of the Brunswick Lions Club and was a member of the Junior Chamber in Brunswick.
He enjoyed playing golf.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Bette (nee Luzius); daughter, Carol Asher of North Ridgeville; son, Tod Moore of Atlanta, Georgia; 4 grandchildren; sisters, Ilene Grobelny of Cleveland , Audrey Sweeney of Newburg Heights and was an uncle of many.
He was preceded in death by his brother James Tully.
Private services will be held. David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville is handling the arrangements.
