Wilda Bigler-Parsson's Obituary
Wilda Ileen Bigler-Parsson (nee Gearhart), age 86, of North Ridgeville, died Thursday at the North Ridge Health Center following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Byesville, OH and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1992; moving from Bay Village; where she lived for 17 years; after having moved from Columbus..
Mrs. Bigler-Parsson worked in retail sales for15 years at Lazarus in Columbus.
She graduated from West High School in Columbus; where she was a member of the Alumni Association. She also was a member of the Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville and a member of the Eastern Star.
She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, cooking and playing cards.
Survivors include her son, Lawrence A. Bigler, of Pickerington, OH and daughter, Helen Gibson, of Sheffield Village; five grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Harry Bigler, in 1971; her 2nd husband, Reuben L. Parsson, in 1991; grandson, Kenneth Lee Bigler; parents, Lloyd E. And Helen (nee Kenney) Gearhart; brothers, Charles Sanders, James Sanders, and George Sanders; sisters, Bessie Ross, Edith Chubb and Kathleen Gloyd.
Friends may call Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM at the Fields United Methodist Church, 34077 Lorain Road, North Ridgeville. Reverend C. Michael Gibson, pastor, will officiate. Friends also may call on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 12 Noon at Saint Andrew Episcopal Church, Pickerington, OH. Reverend Karen Burnard, priest, will officiate. Burial will be in Glenrest Cemetery, Reynoldsburg.
The David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, is handling all the arrangements.
