Wiiliam Dean "Bill" Gill's Obituary
William “Bill” Dean Gill, age 56, of Sheffield Lake, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.
He was born in Cleveland, grew up in Grafton and had lived in Sheffield Lake for the past 7 years, moving from Sheffield Village.
William worked as a welder for ENR Welding and Great Lakes Welding in Oberlin since 1989.
Bill enjoyed working on cars, welding, fishing and was a WWE wrestling fan.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle, son Ryan (Kasey Ellis) Gill of Lorain, daughter Shiloh Gill of Eaton Twp., granddaughters, Zaylee Gill-Murphy and Kinsley Gill, brothers, Scott (Mary) Gill of Georgia, John Gill of Elyria, Kevin Gill of Elyria, James (Jessica) Wykle of Grafton, Roy Vance of Texas, sister Joy (Jason) Widdowson of Litchfield.
He was preceded in death by his son, Blaise Gill and parents, Cecil Gill and Judith Wykle.
Friends may call Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 3-6PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road. Services will be held on Monday at 11AM in the funeral home. Rev. Brandon Richardson will officiate.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
