Wayne D. Milner's Obituary
Wayne D. Milner, age 59, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Lorain, after a short illness.
He enjoyed watching television and spending time with family and friends. He was one of the first five children to start at the Elyria School for Retarded Children now known as Murray Ridge, Lorain County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Wayne is survived by his mother, Bernice Milner (nee Dorow); sisters, Erlene Sallay (Gary), Jackie Jenkins; brothers Brett Milner (Colleen), Tom Batsky (Sue) and James Batsky (Cheryl) along with 4 nieces and 3 nephews. Wayne is also survived by his family at Liberty Lane Group Home, Ronnie, Philip, Tommie, Doug, Joel, Shawna and Shelly along with the caring staff that has been with him since 1986.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl; infant brother, Wayne; maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Friday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Rev. Tom Batsky, Wayne's brother, will officiate.
Burial will be in Ridgeville Cemetery.
