Warren F. Farrar, age 73, of North Ridgeville, died Sunday evening at his home following a brief illness. He was born in Byesville, OH. He had lived in North Ridgeville the past 10 years; having moved from Lakewood; where he had lived for 38 years.
Mr. Farrar had served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He was a driver for Beverage Distributor, Cleveland and retired in 1971.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, walking his dogs in the park with the Kennel Club..Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Glenna J. (nee Howard) Farrar; daughters, Vickey Moroney, of Bay Village, Rebecca Juarez and Margaret Farrar, both of Akron; son, Warren F. Farrar, Jr., of Lakewood; seven grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Peters and Lois Kunzelman, both of Lakewood; brother, Grover "Junior" Farrar, of Cuyahoga Falls .
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Jessie Bell (nee Goheen) Farrar; one brother and eight sisters.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville; where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Reverend Bill Shomo will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration, 4108 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH, 44114
