Wanda J. Richmond's Obituary
Wanda June Richmond, (nee Hammock), age 78, of North Ridgeville, passed way on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Welsh Home in Rocky River.
She was born in Marsh Fork, West Virginia and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1996 moving from Cleveland.
Wanda was a member of Christian Unity Church in North Eaton, where she sang in the church choir. She also enjoyed crafts and gardening.
Survivors include her sons James Richmond Jr. of North Ridgeville, Ernie (Sheareen) Richmond of Lakewood; grandchildren, Michael, Kayla, Cameron and Paige; great-grandchild, Elsa; sister, Sandra (Larry) Jarrell of Mayo, FL; brother, David Hammock of North Olmsted; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Richmond Sr.; brothers, Virgil, Eugene, Bobby Joe, Harry and Eddie Hammock; sister, Mary; parents, Lewis and Myrtle (nee McDowell) Hammock.
Friends may call at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, on Monday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, November 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Unity Church 36353 Capel Rd., North Eaton, OH 44044 where friends will be received beginning at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Neal Brock, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
