Wanda Binggeli's Obituary
Wanda L. Binggeli (nee Smith), age 80, of Olmsted Twp., passed away Friday, October 15, 2010 at Rae Ann Westlake following a short illness.
She was born in Index, West Virginia and had been a resident of Olmsted Twp. for the past 46 years, moving from North Eaton.
Wanda worked as a machine operator for Tinnerman Corp, Cleveland from 1964-1981 and along with her late husband, co-owned and operated ABC's of Stitching in North Ridgeville in the 1980's.
She was an active at several local senior centers, Women of the Moose, Elyria Chapter 907 and was secretary/treasurer of UAW Local 1611 retirees.
She enjoyed handcrafts including knitting, crocheting and quilting.
Survivors include daughters, Holly Brown of Maryville, TN, Charlotte (Steven) Skidmore of DeQueen, Judy (Bob) Martindill of Columbus; sons, Albert (Tricia) Binggeli of Westlake, Larry (Carol) Binggeli of Olmsted Twp.; daughter-in-law, Sara Binggeli of Olmsted Twp.; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, E. Gene Blythe of Sparta, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Binggeli Sr. in 1992; son, Bruce Binggeli in 2000; grandson, Albert Martindill; sister, Verona Newcomb; parents, Holly and Marie (nee Boggs) Smith.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1PM in the funeral home. Rev. Chuck Behrens, will officiate.
Burial will be in Ridgeville Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
