Wanda A. Bako, age 82, a resident of Oberlin for the past 6 years and formerly of North Ridgeville, died peacefully on Thursday, September 6, 2012 in her home. Wanda was born June 1, 1930 in Akron. She married Frank Bako on June 2 Read Obituary
I was impressed by Wanda's efficiency when we sang together at St. Peter's, especially as she prepared for her move to Oberlin. We spoke often after she moved, and I feel I got to know all you children through her loving eyes. You were her first concern and she always prayed for the best for you. I will miss her and our talks. You have my sympathy for your loss.
Your mother was always so friendly and great to talk to.
I keep running in to her all over the area and she was alway in
such a friendly mood. I will always remember our sharing of ideas
when our families were at St. Peters shcool.
I'm sure you all have great memories and they will live with you
forever. May she RIP and our prayer are with her.

Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. I participated with Wanda in the Sacred Heart Church and was duly impressed by how well organized and prepared she always was. Our conversations were breif, too brief, because they were always enjoyable. She was a blessing in her own right.
I will always remember Wanda as a sweet,friendly lady that sat in the soprano section of the choir. She was so dedicated that at times she was the only one to show up for practice. She kept John on his toes by reminding him to practice the weekly psalm. Her voice was lovely. As a choir we are at a great loss.
Wanda was a good neighbor and friend and I will miss her friendly smile and conversations.
My sincere sympathy is with her loving family.

Christine, Sorry for your loss. When I'm on Case Rd headed to Avon as I pass your home I instantly go back to the day you tried to teach me to ice skate. I tore the seat of my pants out and we sat in the kitchen, me in your dad's way too big pants while your mom repaired mine. It was no surprise as I read the obituary this morning that it reflected she was a kind and generous lady.
