Wade Wilford's Obituary
Wade M. Wilford, 81 of North Ridgeville, died Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at his residence following a long illness.
He was born September 12, 1924 in North Eaton,OH.
He moved to North Ridgeville at the age of one and lived there his entire life.
Mr. Wilford was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the far East during WWII.
He was a past chairman and member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ board of trustees, and served as a church moderator and cub scout leader for many years.He was also a member of the Frank S. Harmon Masonic Lodge in Elyria. Mr. Wilford enjoyed family outings and woodworking as well.
He worked as an Assembler for Bendix Westinghouse in Elyria for thirty-seven years. He was also a former sexton of the City of North Ridgeville Cemeteries for twenty-three years, retiring in 1983.
Surviving are three sons, Bruce Wilford of North Ridgeville, Barry Wilford of Columbus, and Mark Wilford of Davie, FL; four grandchildren, three great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet ( nee Mills) in 2002; brother Dale, and sister Winifred Cowley.
Memorial Services will be held at 7PM Monday November 28 at First Congregational United Church Of Christ, 36363 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville, 44039 with Reverend David Connor officiating. Private Interment at Fields Cemetery.
