Volda Othelee Morrison's Obituary
Volda Othelee Morrison (nee Bennett), age 84, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Wesleyan Village in Elyria.
She was born in Troja, Jamaica and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 15 years moving from Weston, Florida.
She worked as an accountant for the federal government in Jamaica for over 35 years, retiring in 1986.
Volda enjoyed reading.
Survivors include her sons, Carlos (Peta’gaye) Morrison of North Ridgeville, Ramong (Denese) Morrison of Miramar, Florida; grandchildren, Dwayne, Ryan, Neil, Cammile and Brittany Morrison; brothers, Rupert (Madge) Bennett of Kingston, Jamaica, Headley “ Lunis” (Sylvia) Bennett of Mt. Vernon, New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Estella Bennett; brothers, Albert “Lattie”, Ferdinand “Nando”, Robert “Bob” and Vincent Bennett; sisters, Icilda “Mena” and, Vera “Queenie” Bennett.
Services will be private.
