Virginia "Weety" L. Taylor's Obituary
Virginia “Weety”L. Taylor (nee Cottom), age 71, of North Eaton, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of Eaton Twp for the past 43 years, formerly of Berea. She was a 1965 graduate of Columbia H.S. Weety worked in accounting for Rural Lorain County Water Authority and was a staff writer for The Rural Urban Record. She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, cross word puzzles, was an avid walker, and most of all enjoyed being a grandmother. She is survived by her son Adam (Terea Tukes) Taylor of Louisville, KY; daughter Stephanie (David) Conrad of Rochester, OH; granddaughters Megan, Erin, Samantha Conrad of Rochester, who lovingly referred to her as Pama; sisters Linda (Bob) Holland of Lagrange, Mary Broberg of Bay Village, Julie Cottom of Berea, Maureen (Brian) Mittelstaedt of Port Angeles, WA., Kathleen Cuthrell of Olmsted Falls; brothers James Cottom of Columbia Station, Timothy (Shelley) Cottom of Elyria, John (Tina) Cottom of Grafton, Michael (Charmae) Cottom of Columbia Station, Martin Cottom of Columbia Station; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband David in 2012; parents Edward and Kathleen (nee McDonald) Cottom. Family will receive friends Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 4PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville.
