Virginia Thompson's Obituary
Virginia L. G. Thompson, (nee Scharf), age 72, of North Ridgeville went home to be with the Lord Thursday August 9, 2012 at her home following a long illness.
She was born in Cleveland and had resided in North Ridgeville the past 40 years.
Mrs. Thompson was a long time member of Sugar Ridge Baptist Church, N. Ridgeville.
She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She worked as a Merchandiser for American Greetings for 30 years retiring in 1980.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years Larry, daughters Lisa Gail (Mark) Axford of Grafton, Linda Sue (Richard) Quintana of Cartersville, Georgia, sons Matthew (Bobbi) Thompson of Seffner, Florida, John (Tara) Thompson of Apollo Beach, Florida, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, brother, LeRoy Scharf of Grafton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Scharf, mother, Virginia Sloan (nee Garrison), infant sister, Carol Jean Scharf.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where services will be held 11 AM Monday. Reverend Michael Manosky, will officiate. Burial will follow in Belden Cemetery, Grafton Township.
