Violet Taylor's Obituary
Violet E. Taylor (nee Farkas), age 78, of North Ridgeville, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011 at St. John Medical Center, Westlake, following a long illness.
She was born in Powellton, West Virginia and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1989 moving from Cleveland, where she had lived for 20 years.
Violet worked as a welder for Union Carbide in Cleveland, retiring in 1987.
She was a member of North Ridgeville Church of God.
She enjoyed playing bingo and card games.
Survivors include her son, Michael (Patricia) of North Ridgeville; daughters, Jeanie Holstein of North Ridgeville and Rebecca Mitchell of Cleveland; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brothers, John Farkas of Oregon and Edward Farkas of Lutz, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil in 2002; son, Randall; parents, Edward and Charlotte Farkas.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 - 5 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 11 AM in the funeral home.
Rev. Brian Palmer, Pastor of North Ridgeville Church of God will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
