Veronica Carnall's Obituary
Veronica Rita Carnall (nee Balombeny), age 90, of Elyria, died Monday at Bradley Bay Health Center, Bay Village, following a short illness.
She was born in Cleveland and was a long time resident of Parma until moving to Elyria one year ago.
She worked as a secretary for the Boiler Makers Union Local 744, Cleveland retiring in 1987 after many years. She previously worked as a secretary for the Teamsters Union in Cleveland.
Mrs. Carnall was a former member of St. Charles Boremeo in Parma and enjoyed reading, writing poems and traveling.
Survivors include daughter Barbara Armstrong; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank H.; parents Joseph and Anna Balombeny; sister Anne Carpenter and brothers Joseph Benny and Andrew Dudas.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where prayers services will be held on Friday at 10:45 AM. A 11:30 AM Mass will follow at St. Raphael Catholic Church 525 Dover Center Road Bay Village. Reverend Craig Hovanek, Associate Pastor will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark.
