Vernice Taranovich's Obituary
Vernice M. Taranovich (nee Hammond), age 86 of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, March 20, 2007.
She was born September 3, 1920 in Richwood, WV. She had resided in N. Ridgeville the past 44 years having moved from Westlake.
She Owned and operated Vernie's Beauty Salon in N. Ridgeville from 1963 -1973.
Surviving are daughter, Sandi Hallauer of N. Ridgeville; son, John Taranovich of Franklin, VA; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and her sister, Juanita Kelley of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; and her son, Tom, both in 1988 ; parents, George and Lola Hammond; five brothers and three sisters.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00AM Monday April 2 at Saint Vincent De Paul Church, 41295 North Ridge Rd., Elyria.
Interment will be in St. Dominic Cemetery in Proctor, Vermont.
Arrangements are under the direction of David Bogner Family Funeral Home, North Ridgeville.
