Tyler C. Sims' Obituary
Tyler C. “TC” Sims, age 83, of Grafton, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Dyer, Tennessee and had been a resident of Columbia Station for the past 60 years.
He worked for General Motors in Parma as a machine operator before retiring in 1995, after 30 years of service.
Tyler was a member of UAW Local 591 and a past parishioner of North Eaton Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, camping, gardening and loved his old Cadillac.
Survivors include his son Tyler (Darlene) Sims of Brunswick; daughter, Dana (Todd) Roose of Grafton; grandchildren, Melissa Rutti, Michelle Pollack, Brooke Sims, McKenna, Karah and Trent Roose; great-grandchildren, Blake and Brady Pollack, Kyla Rutti; sister, Freeda Lietchy; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Sims; sons, Terry, Dale and Edward Sims; sisters, Frances, Joyce and Faye; parents, Nelson and Alice (nee Ruddle) Sims.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Stephen Carter will officiate.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
