Tracy E. Franklin's Obituary
Tracy E. Franklin (nee Vencel), of Chagrin Falls, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna.
She was born in Elyria, grew up in North Ridgeville, and lived most of her life in Chagrin Falls.
Over the years, Tracy built a strong career working at OfficeMax, Allen-Bradley, and Morgan Stanley.
Outside of work, she loved caring for her animals, had a natural sense for style, and enjoyed shopping, crafting, and spending time in nature - especially by the water.
Above all, Tracy was a devoted and loving mother who centered her life not just around her two sons, but her entire family. Her greatest gift was the unconditional love she gave so freely - a love that will continue to guide and comfort her family forever. She was steady, selfless, and always put family first, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and quiet resilience. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle presence lifted the lives of everyone around her, and her spirit will live on in her two sons, allowing her presence to be felt by all who knew her.
Survivors include her sons, Nicholas and Anthony Franklin; husband, Paul Franklin of Chagrin Falls; sister, Gayle (Greg) Stanfield of Elyria; aunt, Linda Vencel of Avon; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Betty Lou Vencel; sister, Vicki Dickerhoff; and uncle, Gerald Vencel.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10 AM Friday December 5 at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where the family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to mass. Rev. Robert Franco, Pastor will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe page has been set up https://gofund.me/cb3b85b53 to help the family.
