Thomas Clint Simpson's Obituary
Thomas Clint Simpson, 40, of South Amherst, went to heaven on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at his home after battling a long-term illness.
He was born May 24, 1981 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident of South Amherst.
Thomas was a 1999 graduate of Firelands High School, attended LCJVS and LCCC. He was a talented artist, enjoyed drawing, writing poems, listening to music, and studying the bible. Thomas loved his family dearly. One of his greatest joys was spending time, laughing with all his nieces and nephews. He had a heart of gold and a strong desire to always help those less fortunate. He stayed true to his faith in Jesus, spoke often about heaven, and loved to share God’s word.
Thomas is survived by his parents Marion “Tom” and Barbara (nee Dickerson) Simpson, sisters Tammy (Scott) Sigsworth, Tracie (Tony) Rotuno, Marion (Eric Wilhelm), nephews Johnathan, Andrew, and Brayden, nieces Miranda, Emaley and Hannah, maternal grandmother Louise (nee Mullins) Dickerson.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Obie and Evay Simpson, maternal grandfather Lawrence Dickerson, and niece Lindsey Rotuno.
A private service and burial at River Road Cemetery in LaGrange, will be held for family members.
