Thomas Keys' Obituary
Thomas D. Keys, 62, of North Ridgeville, died on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at EMH Regional Medical Center, Elyria; following a long illness.
He was born in Elyria and had lived in North Ridgeville his entire life.
Mr. Keys served in the United States Navy from 1965-1969.
He had worked 31 years for the Milford-Rivet Company, Elyria until its closing. He also had worked as a security guard at various locations for a number of years.
Thomas enjoyed drawing, talking on his CB with the handle of "Crazy Tom" and hanging out at Hazel's Restaurant to shoot the bull with the guys over a cup of coffee.
He is survived by his brother, Harry James (Dolores) Keys; one nephew and niece; special friends, Georgene (Ronald) Stadnik, Catherine Pszenitzki and Bruce W. Hales.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis Scott and Cleo Lucille (nee Bennett) Keys; brothers Richard and Francis.
Friends will be received on Friday from Noon until the time of the Service at 1:00 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Reverend Chuck Behrens will officiate at the service. Burial will take place in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville. The North Ridgeville VFW Post 9871 will conduct full Military Services at the cemetery.
