Thomas Edward Du Broy's Obituary
Thomas Edward Du Broy, age 78, of Elyria, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, at UH Elyria Medical Center. He was born in Elyria and was a lifelong resident of Elyria and North Ridgeville. Thomas worked as a pipefitter for Ford Motor Co. for 33 years, before retiring in 2007. He was a decorated United States Marine, who served during Vietnam. Thomas was a member of VFW post 1662 in Amherst and Disabled American Veterans. In his free time, he enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Thomas is survived by his daughters Roxanne Durante of Elyria, Kelly (Michael) Knight of Elyria, Holly (Dean Wilhelm) Du Broy of Chagrin Falls, Samantha (Greg) Hamilton of Sheffield Village, son Brian (Sherry) Baughman of Sheffield Lake, sister Barbara (Doug) Dubena, 16 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy, parents Louis and Audrey (nee Hayth) Du Broy, sister Linda Bateman, and granddaughter MacKenzie Hamilton.
Friends may call on Tuesday October 15 from 3pm, until the time of service at 5pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville, OH 44039. Pastor Chet Beetler will officiate.
