Theodore A. "Ted" Vick's Obituary
Theodore A. “Ted” Vick, age 74, of Whitehouse, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Hospice of NW Ohio in Perrysburg.
He was born in Cleveland and was a resident of Whitehouse for the past 4 years. He also lived in Grand Haven, Michigan for 12 years but spent most of his life in the Cleveland and Elyria areas.
Ted served in the US Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
For the past 11 years he was an account executive with MGM Brakes. He previously worked for Haldex Brakes and Bendix.
He was a member of Waterville Community Church and a very active member with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary in Toledo. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason.
He enjoyed boating, fishing, golfing and like to cook.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Sue (nee Ebeling); daughters, Stephanie (Paul) Vick-Mette of Strongsville, Kelly (Brian) Vick-Lacko of West Salem, Debbie (Jason) Lysaght of Grafton, Christine Pohorence of Lakewood; son, Stephen (Cheryl) Pohorence of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Andrew, Amanda, Joshua, Kenny, Brandon, Nicole, Danielle and Evan; great-grandson, Weston; sister, Suzie (John) Gundic of Euclid; brother-in-law, Terry Ebeling of Hickory, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anton Theodore Vick and Dorothy Ward.
Friends may call Friday from 5-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30AM in the funeral home. Rev. Dwight Seletzky will officiate.
