Terese Smith's Obituary
Terese A. Smith (nee Gillespie) age 75 of North Ridgeville, died Friday, October 28, 2005 at Harborside Healthcare, Westlake following a long illness.
She was born July 21, 1930 in Cleveland. She had resided in North Ridgeville the past 40 years having moved from Bay Village.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, cross stitching, puzzles and her children.
She worked as a Teller for Cleveland Trust and as a retail clerk for JC Penny.
Surviving are her Son, Jeff (Pat) Smith of Alpharetta, GA, 3 daughters, Linda (Ron) Slone of Franklin, Ohio, Amy (Tom) Hutchings of North Ridgeville, Laura Smith of Oberlin, three grandchildren; 2 brothers, Terrence Gillespie of Broadview Heights and Hubert Gillespie of Bay Village and one sister Ruth Gillespie of Valrico, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford M. Smith in 2004; her parents, William and Mary Gillespie; brother, William Gillespie; sisters, Mary Jean Speck and Patricia Haviland.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 PM Tuesday at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. A prayer service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday at St. Peter Church with Rev. Stephen Kaminski, Pastor as the celebrant.
Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
