Tammy Messer's Obituary
Tammy C. Messer, 34, a resident of Elyria since 1999 and formerly of North Ridgeville, died Saturday, September 15, 2012 at her home following a lifelong illness. Tammy was born October 12, 1977 in Parma.
She is survived by her mother and step father, Deloris and Bill, Elyria; father and step mother, Wayne and Paula, Parma; brothers, Douglas and Robert Wayne Light, both of Elyria and David Messer, Lorain; sister, Karlie Messer, Parma; and grandparents, James and Alice Messer, Parma. Tammy was preceded in death by grandparents, Dewey and Wilma Ashby and her sister, Theresa Light.
A 1996 graduate of North Ridgeville High School, Tammy was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo and on her computer. She will be lovingly remembered for her positive attitude and seeking the good in everyone. She would often remind her family and friends to "live each day as if it were your last".
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2012 in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Private graveside services will be held at Lutheran Cemetery, Cleveland.
