Sylvia J. Zickefoose-Change of Services' Obituary
Sylvia J. Zickefoose (nee Tusing), age 82, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
Born in Weaver, West Virginia she had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1969 moving from Cleveland.
She worked for Dreco Plastics in North Ridgeville for many years, retiring in 2001.
Sylvia enjoyed being outside, spending time with her grandchildren, flowers, gardening and watching fireworks with her family and was an avid Cleveland Indians baseball fan.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Darrel Sr., sons, Darrel Jr. (Donna) of Sullivan, Phil of North Ridgeville, daughters, Darlene McIe of North Ridgeville, Connie Fields of Sheffield Lake, Diane (Darnell) Myers of LaGrange, Loretta (Joe) Scheetz of Sheffield Lake, 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; brothers Arthur “Bud” Tusing and Troy Tusing, both of Belington, WV; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Zickefoose, granddaughter, Crystal Fields, parents, Arthur and Mildred Tusing, and 6 brothers.
PLEASE NOTE SERVICE CHANGE Visitations will be on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 4-7PM. Services will be on Saturday at 10AM in the funeral home. Rev. Alan Jenkins will officiate. Burial will be at Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
